These awards are exclusively for products being shown at the Tax Free World Exhibition in Cannes 2023 and the people who make them successful.

 

For the first time, instead of entries competing against each other, entrants are striving to achieve one of 3 attainment levels - Bronze, Silver or Gold.

 

Our judges are well respected category and industry professionals and winning a product category award provides recognition of best practice and excellence across the key disciplines of: product design and development, customer touchpoints and doing the right thing.

Winning an Above and Beyond people award provides recognition of best practice and excellence for the people who make your products successful.


Gold, Silver or Bronze certificates will be awarded to product category entries
that meet the stringent judging criteria within their category. Above and Beyond entries winners will receive the TR GO for GOLD award.

TR GO FOR GOLD AWARDS FACTSHEET

MISSION

  • To create an awards whose judging criteria which reflects what would attract the attention of a Travel Retail buyer in 2023 in terms of product section and client services. Therefore, making the effort that goes into creating a successful awards entry beneficial in terms of future marketing, benchmarking and business growth.

VISION

  • To develop the judging criteria into a standard, which is recognised and valued by Travel Retail brands and retailers

JUDGING CRITERIA:

Excellence & best practice in the following:

  • Design, development, KPIs = 25% of overall score

  • Customer touchpoints, before, during and after travel
    = 35% of overall score

  • Doing the right thing
    = 15% of overall score

  • KPI outcomes
    = 25% of overall score

Judges will take into consideration TR turnover when applying the judging criteria to ensure fairness across all business sizes

GOING FOR GOLD

  • These awards are exclusively for products being shown at the TFWA in Cannes 2023 and the people who make them successful.

  • For the first time, instead of entries competing against each other, entrants are striving to achieve one of 3 attainment levels - Bronze, Silver or Gold.

  • 50 - 59% = Bronze

  • 60 - 69% = Silver

  • 70% and above = Gold

INTRODUCING THE AWARDS

Gold, Silver or Bronze certificates will be awarded to entries

that meet the stringent judging criteria within their category.
Certificates and a premium display stand, will be presented on the first day of the TFWA in Cannes 2023.
Visitors will be given a specially commissioned TFWA map highlighting the award winners.
